Tangerine lips are taking the beauty world (and the runways!) by storm, serving as an unexpected pop of color that instantly warms the features, as long as you”re not afraid to go bold! The juicy tangerine and coral hues are the perfect antidote, particularly for a dreary Monday morning. They add a much-needed dose of cheery color and remind me that winter only means that spring is just around the corner. Bright apricot shades aren’t necessarily for everyone, so if you’re too timid to go full-on opaque orange, opt for a sheer formula like Lipstick Queen’s Glossy Pencil in Genre or a gloss like Paul & Joe Beaute in Tangerine for something that is more glossy than concentrated.

One of the important things that women cannot live without is a makeup bag that will be a lifesaver for them. A make up bag will help to organize the makeup tools and prevent them floating around the base of purses of women. Yet, some of them come in a simple design and solid colors. Most women have more than one make up bags. They tend to have a larger one to keep their make up in at home, a small one that easily holds a few items in their purse, and one that they take with them when they travel to hold various cosmetics.
Renowned makeup artist and Cover Girl Global Design Director Pat McGrath have collaborated with LeSportsac on an eight-piece lipstick-inspired cosmetic bag collection.
Starting June 2011, the LipPerfection collection will be available at LeSportsac boutiques and on LeSportsac.com. And wait, there’s a beauty bonus! With every bag purchase, you’ll receive a Cover Girl LipPerfection lipcolor voucher for any shade. We’re certainly tempted by this adorable print—will you snatch up one of these for your stash?
The packing is very impressive. It has a clear cap that snaps open and close. This will also help you when you are at the store, trying to decide which color will look good on your skin color. The actual stick is safe inside a tube that you can twist left and right to make the stick go up when you are applying it and down when you are finished with it.
I love this Blushable Crème Stick by New York Color. The color is gorgeous – it is a fairly bright pink but you could definitely use less and blend it out to get less color. It is beautiful and pretty clear pink.

- Rubbing lemons on your teeth will give you pearly white. It’s true. While lemons do help you get lighter locks, they don’t really work on your teeth since the critic acid in lemons wears away enamel. Save the lemons for the lemonade and instead brush your teeth with water and baking soda a couple times a week to get those pearly whites at home.
- Fake nails will destroy your nails. Not true. It’s not the artificial nail or glue that ultimately causes nail damage, but improper removal. So if you take care of your nails and remove them properly, there will be no damage to your nails.
- Laser hair doesn’t work for light hair. This is also not true. Lighter hair, you will see about 70 – 80% removal of the hair.
- You should never wax before or during your period. This one is true. Hormonal changes just before and during ovulation may heighten the sensitivity of nerve endings, which means that waxing may be more painful. The best time for waxing is after your period.
- You should never rub your wrists together when you apply fragrance. This is so true. This can bruise the oils contained in the blend, chemically altering the scent. Just leave it alone and let the air dry it.
- Shaving makes your hair grow thicker. Oh no, this one is false. When you shave, you’re cutting hair off at its largest diameter, so you’re left with the blunt end, which often feels coarser and thicker.
- Filling your nails in one direction – instead of back and forth – will prevent shredding. This is true. You should file from each corner of the nail toward the middle to avoid breakage and splitting.
- Plucking your eyebrows will stop them from growing back. This one is true. Sustained tweezing over many years may fatigue the hair follicle to the point where it may not grow back.
- Storing fragrances in the fridge will make them last longer. This is so false, because the oils in the scents will permeate all fats – such as butter and milk – in your fridge, causing contamination.
- Trimming your cuticles will make them grow back thicker. Yep, this is true. Pushing your cuticles back is okay, but trimming them breaks the seal with the nail bed, triggering them to grow back thicker to protect the nail from infection.
